Today, there are various forms of technology that was invented fulfill the slogan "a world without borders". Therefore, human resource professionals have been using the latest technology that the web to offer their services to employees. With this website, they can change the function of human resources for the better. Therefore, to change human resource functions for the better, this course reveals the use of much computer-based information system (CIBS). Therefore, managers and indirectly, they can access information at any time and without using a paper process. Human resource management is evolving into a more technology-based profession which is global, self service, outsource delivery, business information and individualised employee and manager plans. This chapter also, I have learn more about Information System, their function, their component, activities, resource, and others.
            In the 21st century, human resource management has evolved into a web of paper-based record keeping system has been changed to keep a record of using the web and portal technology for use by the public. I worried that I couldn’t understand this subject because of this subject are more to the technology study and now, I can understand even little but it can help by focus in lecture and tutorial. From my understanding, Web-based technologies are changing the HR department from a function immersed in administration activities to an essential management partner. Web-Based Human Resources demonstrates what a newly designed Web-based HR department looks like, how it functions, and how to implement portal technologies for lower overall costs and higher employee satisfaction. Therefore, this course is very important in the realization of human resource management change for the better in the eyes of society.
